Why I Named This Brand "Alchemizing Her Life"

Alchemy is all about transformation—the idea that we can take what already exists and turn it into something better, more beautiful, and more powerful than before. It’s like taking life’s lemons and making the best spicy margarita you’ve ever had.

For me, Alchemizing Her Life isn’t about becoming someone new—it’s about embracing who we already are and evolving into the best version of ourselves. It’s about shadow work, manifestation, healing, and finding magic in the everyday. It’s about living in the flow, embracing the “everything is amazing” moments and the “WTF am I doing with my life?” ones.

And let’s be real, I also love the way it sounds—a little mystical, a little dreamy, but still grounded in real, everyday magic. That’s the energy I bring to the functions. 💃

The Tarot Reading That Sparked It All 🪄

Real talk, I’m in a career transition right now. AKA, I’m in my funemployed era. 🤣

I spent six years as a teacher, shaping little minds (Kindergarten & TK—because teaching 3rd grade and up? Absolutely not, lol). But burnout hit hard, and honestly, I wasn’t even sure who I was outside of being a teacher. So I decided to go all in on pursuing my dream of never working a 9-5 again. Because let’s be real—girlie q's like us do not dream of slaving away in corporate. Sorry…not for me 💅🏽

With all this extra time, my bestie Sarah and I started The Divine Feminine Dialogues Podcast, where we dive deep into self-discovery, spirituality, and embracing feminine power. After launching the podcast, I knew I wanted to branch out and create a business of my own. But I wasn’t sure what. So, I turned to my guides, asking for help and guidance. The idea of starting a blog came to me, and it stuck. But of course my overthinking kicked in (hi Virgo sun), and I kept pulling tarot cards for clarity.

A card that kept showing up? The Magician. Over and over, my guides were reminding me: You already have everything you need inside you. You are capable of turning anything into something even better.

Still, I was struggling with the name. Did you know that literally every cute blog name is already taken?! 🙄 So I told my guides, “If you want me to start this blog, I need help with the name.”

One morning, I woke up with the phrase Alchemizing Her Life in my head. I immediately Googled it, and—drum roll please—IT WAS AVAILABLE, BESTIE.

For final confirmation, I pulled a tarot card from my favorite deck (Cozy Witch Tarot—grab yours here if you want the same deck!). And what card do you think showed up?

✨ The Magician. If that’s not a sign, I don’t know what is. ✨

🌊 Hawaiian-born, Cali-raised, and now living my best beach girl life in Florida. The ocean is my soul home. If you ever run into me, I’ll probably have a spicy marg in one hand and a cinnamon swirl latte in the other (with nothing other than real milk, pls).
